  1. Editor / Associate Editor

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced academicians to join the Editorial Boards of our various journals. As an Editor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the scientific quality and integrity of the journal.

Responsibilities:

  • Make final decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection based on peer review reports.
  • Guide the strategic direction and scope of the journal.
  • Identify emerging research topics for Special Issues.
  • Uphold the ethical standards of the publication.

Requirements:

  • A PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Medical, Engineering, Management, or Arts).
  • A strong publication record in reputable international journals.
  • Prior experience as a reviewer or board member is preferred.
  1. Peer Reviewer

Role Overview:

Peer reviewers are the backbone of the scientific publishing process. We invite subject matter experts to join our reviewer database to ensure that all published research is rigorous, valid, and impactful.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate manuscripts critically and provide constructive feedback to authors.
  • Assess the methodology, originality, and significance of the research.
  • Complete reviews within the stipulated timeline to ensure rapid publication.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
  • Expertise in specific research areas.
  • Commitment to academic integrity and confidentiality.
  1. Editorial Assistant

Role Overview:

The Editorial Assistant acts as the bridge between authors, reviewers, and the Chief Editor. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of the submission and publication workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial technical checks on submitted manuscripts (formatting, plagiarism check).
  • Coordinate with authors regarding corrections and proofs.
  • Manage communication correspondence efficiently.
  • Assist in updating journal websites and indexing databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Science/English preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic internet tools.
  1. Acquisition Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for dynamic individuals to help grow our journal portfolio and reach new authors. The Acquisition Executive focuses on expanding the publisher’s presence in the academic community.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact potential authors, conference organizers, and research institutions.
  • Promote RGA journals to university libraries and research departments.
  • Assist in acquiring content for Special Issues and conference proceedings.
  • Develop strategies to increase journal visibility and citations.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Background in marketing, business administration, or academic relations.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Are you a student or early-career researcher looking to gain experience in academic publishing?

RGA Research Publications offers Remote Internships and Volunteer positions. These programs provide hands-on experience in the publishing cycle, understanding ethical standards (COPE), and learning about digital archiving (Zenodo, Internet Archive).
